Positive: Our favorite stay on our Italy trip! The apartment is big, with a bedroom, living room and kitchen. We loved that we could chill on either the balcony or the roof terrace. Both have amazing views, roof terrace especially. The location is calm and cute, with few tourists, which was appreciated after the hectic tourist magnets nearby. We loved to have a proper kitchen to prepare meals. Just a few tips for future guests: For arriving to the apartment, accept Evas offer of pick-up service if you don't have your own vehicle. The taxi prices from Amalfi is at least 60-70 euros (10 minutes drive). Once there with your luggage, learn the bus service! So, ALL buses from Amalfi > Ravello can stop at the bus stop Bivio Pontone, ASK THE DRIVER, some buses doesn't have a functioning stop button. From Bivio Pontone you have to walk 1 minute on the highly trafficked road, but then on a smaller, calmer road which is safe to walk on. About 20-30 minutes walk to the apartment, depending on your speed. There is also a bus that travels between Amalfi > Pontone, which stops closer to the apartment, but runs only every second or third hour. Since it's a bit of a hassle to travel by bus, it's not like you can go back and forth to the apartment. It's easy to walk down to Amalfi, but we didn't try to go the other way, but it's of course an option. But Pontone is a very cute little town with all the Italian stairs, alleyways and houses. You have two-three restaurants five minutes away. Pontone is a good starting point to walk to Valle delle Ferriere, although check opening hours; it wasn't open 9.45 a regular day when I was there. An Amalfi tip: We loved the neighbouring smaller town Atrani more than Amalfi. You can walk there.
Negative: This is a small issue, but we would have loved better furniture on the roof terrace and on the balcony. It's a very nice space but it's really not decorated or furnished to it's potential. The furniture in the apartment is older and not modern, but clean and comfortable! We would have loved a working smart tv on our rainy night in, but I think updates need to be made to the software, it couldn't connect to my phone.
